Air con fault

Featured Replies

Hi guys

Had my 14 plate A3 S-Line for a few months now, a couple of days ago, this popped up on the display. I'm assuming it's telling me the air con gas has disappeared.

1 - Is this correct?

2 - Can I clear the warning as it will be a while before I can get it looked at.

I should say the photo was taken with the engine off. When running there's a small green bar that reaches to the green image above the gauge.

Thanks

Nethacott

Hi NO you can't remove the sign permanently best to get it re gassed as soon as possible, this will involve them pressure testing the circuit , cheap it aint but its better than having to buy a new compressor ££££££.

Is that green warning light for aircon? It looks to me like a fuel filler nozzle indicating low fuel.

Well spotted Cliff I did not look at it for long enough, my mistake.

Steve.

That looks like your display is in efficiency mode and that is showing how much fuel your aircon is using in litres per hour.

Any answer for us David? I see you visited the forum three hours ago.

I note also that you have not responded to any of the replies you were given in your previous three topics, so I'll not extend much latitude now.
