Water getting into tailgate of my 2008 A6 Avant wagon

Featured Replies

So when we get heavy rains, the tailgate of my Audi V6 waggon (2008) gets water in it when the tea is lifted water pours out the bottom of it. Any ideas?

Clifford. I have a similar issue on my 2011 A6 Avant. Your idea sounds very likely, I'll check mine. Thanks.

its been -11C here lately and the car is getting a tire fixed at the garage so haven't had a chance to explore

It looks like the wiring is contained within one of the tailgate hinges and as it's been raining non-stop for the last few days I haven't had a close look to see how I can get in there to see it.
