Audi A4 Allroad B9 – Virtual Pedal Not Working

Featured Replies

Hi all,
I’m looking for some advice on an issue with my virtual pedal (kick to open) on my 2017 Audi A4 Allroad (B9):

Symptoms
Electric tailgate will not open via virtual pedal (seems like the sensor is not working.)
Virtual pedal completely inoperative
No physical damage to the tailgate itself
Issue appeared after bodywork repair (bonnet and slam panel replacement)

Vehicle details
Model: Audi A4 Allroad B9
Year: 2017
Engine: 2.0 TDI (DETA)
Mileage: ~ 37,000 Miles
Infotainment: MIB2 High (MHI2)

Diagnostic tool: OBDeleven
Relevant fault codes
From OBDeleven scan:

Module 46 – Comfort System (BCM2):

B169011 - Control module for rear lid opening supply Short circuit to ground
Status: Static

Module 6D – Deck Lid Control (HDSG):
No stored fault codes

Other trouble code that appeared at the same time:

Module 5F - Multimedia:

B153313 - GSM antenna 2 Open circuit static

Questions
Where is the main power feed and ground for the tailgate control module on the B9 A4?
Are there known ground points under the bonnet that could affect BCM2 / tailgate?
Has anyone seen B169011 caused by wiring damage rather than the module itself?
Any known weak points for the virtual pedal wiring/sensor on the Allroad?
Any wiring diagrams, ground point locations, or similar experiences would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks in advance 👍
