Heated mirrors.

Featured Replies

Hi folks,  so help please.  Only just got around fixing the heated mirrors.  Upon testing them both was faulty, zero ohms on connections so got two new ones.  Passenger works but drivers side doesn't, no voltage at connections.  Where are the fuses for them as looking online, they state there on the dash board panel.  They state there on the side of the dash board panel but on looking in the manual no mention of mirrors.

Before I take the door card off to look at the module, locating the fuse first I obviously want to try.

Regards

Ian

Before doing anything else, check the wiring within the flexible harness section twixt A post and the door frame. This is a common point where wires fracture.

Please let us know the outcome of your inspection.

Fuses:- Please bear in mind that fuses blow to protect the circuit, so you will need to find that fault before fitting a new fuse.

Regards,

Gareth.

Hi Gareth,

Well I've only just seen your reply as I have already checked the fuses on both sides of the side dash boards in situ and all is good which points to like you have said, a broken wire somewhere.

Thanks for the advice and I'll will look there tomorrow.

Regards

Ian
