A1 ABS long coding help please? (ESP8.2i)

Featured Replies

Could anyone help with ABS long code for the following VIN please? WAUZZZ8X7CB231745.

My neighbour fitted a UK instrument cluster to a Japanese import Audi A1 1(Auto) thinking his speed would display in MPH. The car did not start so he fitted the Japanese (Original cluster) back into the car. Now the ABS long coding is all 0's and warning lights on the dash relating to brakes. From what I have read, this probably caused a VIN mismatch. How do I check this? Also, from what I read the coding can be worked out from the VIN but it's beyond my knowledge I'm afraid. I do know that it's a 1.4 CAX engine, and brake discs are 256mm front and 232mm rear. I don't know if any other information is needed...

I do have a legit VCDS (Fairly old, but works fine.

If anyone could help I would appreciate it (And so would my neighbour)

Thanks.
