RS4 Conv 2008. Needs servicing

Featured Replies

Some parts for my car have become obsolete. I'm looking for a garage that can look after this lovely car (mileage only 78,000) Currently needs brake pads and discs but will require replacement drop links soon

Thanks for your advice. I want to try to keep my car in its original state, ie original parts, but am frustrated that main dealers will no longer source all parts. I have found a German operation called Audi Tradition that have lots of original parts, but won't ship direct to the UK. I wonder if there is a dealer/garage in the UK willing to pay their monthly retainer, do that parts could be shipped directly?

Manufacturers only commit to supplying spares for ten years after the end of production, so you have a difficult task ahead. It would be worth searching for specialist classic car clubs who often stock, or even make, parts for old cars.

Thanks, I'll do that.
