EGR and DPF delete

Featured Replies

Hi i am a new member and am debating a dpf and egr delete with remap as i have been quoted a dpf replacement that costs far too much, if anybody has done this modification on an a3 8v please let me know how it went for you and any problems that have occurred it would be greatly appreciated.

Alex.

Such work usually turns out badly by causing damage to the engine unless done by expensive experts rather than the average bodger working under a railway arch. Search these forums for examples, one of which was this:

If you think replacing the DPF is expensive wait until at a later date the problems start, thats really expensive, try buying a second hand unit and having it professionally cleaned then fitted its a hell of a lot cheaper.

Steve.
