Hi there

Collected my 2010 q7 3.0 tdi s line today and not great day. Just come out of a nightmare with Mercedes after 2 years and decided on an Audi.

Picked my q7 this afternoon and noticed already a knocking noise. When accelerating from standstill then brake instantly, I noticed a knocking noise from underneath!

any ideas what this could be? As dreading if I have walked into another nightmare.

Any ideas and assistance will be much appreciated.

Regards

Did you buy it privately or from a dealer?

If a dealer, take it back and get a technician to sit in the car and listen for the noise, then they can fix it free of charge.

Hi Nick welcome to the club! Good luck with getting the knocking sorted not a great start to ownership!  :(

Called dealer today.

Spoke to them this morning and salesman has asked me to call service to book in, even though I only collected yesterday. I have called service and they now need to check with salesman!! Still waiting.

Left a nightmare with Mercedes to go into another me thinks!

Really had enough already
