A4 instrument cluster problem

Featured Replies

I just bought a 2001 a4 2.5 tdi estate, I noticed that there is a problem with the display as quite a few pixels are missing, is there a new part available for repairing this if so is it a main dealer part, I've also got no reading on the engine temp gauge but I expect this is a separate issue, any advice and suggestions on this please.

You could use a second hand cluster but I believe your mileage would be wrong? Failing that I would imagine it could be sent off for repair. Bit of a paint though

There are services advertising on ebaying who supply and fit new displays. Costs about £110. You have to ask yourself if its justifiable considering the age of the car. Temperature guage is prob just a sensor although I thought mine was faulty turned out it just takes an age to warm up.
