Gtowsman
Hi All I have an A5 2.0TFSI Coupe Front wheel drive and I'm looking for the location of my DV valve as I want to check if it's torn the rubber. I've had a look around under the hood but I can't see it. Thanks in advance for any help. George
James
This is on a TT but should give you an idea what you're looking for?
Gtowsman
HI James, Thanks for your reply. I've seen this image online already and I can't see that anywhere on my car. I think they must have moved it on a later version of the engine. I will keep looking! Thanks George
James
Not sure if it would help, but may be worth posting an image of your engine bay up here and I'll take a look. Can't promise but maybe worth a shot!
Gtowsman
James, you read my mind! I took a picture when I got home from work last night.
James
Thanks George but I'm with you on that one - not obviously visible. Have you thought about removing the plastic under tray and taking a look underneath?
A5guy
remove the plastic under tray, the DV value is at front but easier to access from the ground.. is it possible front top but you need tiny hands and you probably wont have your knuckles by end of it (tight area) i change my DV out to the GFB one - sorry i dont have a picture - but its def near he front of engine and can be seen / got to from taking the bottom plastic off (with car on ramp id reccomend)
