Just purchased a 53 A6 Avant and so far i'm very pleased with her. I'm a little apprehensive on the CVT box but beggars can't be choosers.

Audi have been very helpful with service history but unfortunately no history on the clutch as to whether it has been upgraded to a seven plate one.

Will be doing a CVT oil change very soon to be on the safe side.

Also i'm trying to find a service manual but Haynes don't seem to do one. Any pointers please?

I believe the gearboxes are okay as long as the fluid is changed frequently.

There should be plenty of information available for specific tasks on the internet, alternatively ElsaWin is a great source of info (try eBay for a copy).

Thanks Trevor, will look for ElsaWin. I'm going to get an oil pump and change CVT oil myself...
