Magnet Posted December 7, 2016 Share Posted December 7, 2016 Hello Gary, Sorry to hear of your problem. Could I ask who has diagnosed that it is faulty to a point where it needs replacing? These units are generally very long lived, and often lend themselves to oil and filter and reprogramming to sort out many problems. If not already done so, I would suggest taking this to an automatic gearbox specialist and if indeed it is beyond economical repair then you should be very capable of advising which boxes can be used to replace it. Trevor Posted December 7, 2016 Share Posted December 7, 2016 Hi Gary...welcome to the Forum I agree with Gareth, the box needs diagnosing accurately by a specialist (not an Audi dealership) as sometimes it can be a simple (but maybe not cheap) repair.
