Faulty Wipers

Featured Replies

Hi All, has anyone ever seen this problem? Sometimes when i try to use my front washers, nothing happens except the the rear wiper starts to move. This is totally intermittent, other times everything works completely normally. I thought there was maybe a short in the rear wiper motor, so have fitted a new one ruling this out. I have a spare stalk sourced from ebay, but do not want to change unless I need to. Any advice welcome.

Hi Steve

Welcome to the forum, I'm not too clued up within the area, so hopefully someone with more experience will comment.

Have you made sure all cables are fine? did anything happen before this happening , like randomly stopping or slow moving ect? hopefully it isn't the motor.

Regards

Bradley

Hi Steve...welcome to the Forum

I would have thought it was the stalk but if you do swap it over I have a funny feeling you may need to code it in....worth checking the forum for past posts that mention this

Cheers  Trevor
