marko Posted March 21, 2017 Share Posted March 21, 2017 I have purchased my first Audi on a 54 plate 2.5 diesel v6 all seems well with the mechanical side of the vehicle but when I open or close the roof there seems to be a delay in the roof opening or closing is this a common fault with these cars as I am talking in the excess of five minutes for the roof to either open or close ? any advice is greatly appreciated thank you . Trevor Posted March 21, 2017 Share Posted March 21, 2017 Hi Mark....welcome to the Forum That sounds like an extremely long amount of time for the roof to decide whether or not it is going to open! Not entirely sure but if it has a electro-hydraulic pump, possibly the fluid is low in the pump? Either way, I think I would take it into a specialist VW Audi repairer for them to look at save destroying any expensive components.
