Unable to use Aux input

Hi,

in desperate need of some advice please I have an Aux input in my Audi 2009 Q5 however I have tried in vein to get it working but I have had no luck. I have youtubed this to death and the advise there is to go into the secret green menu by pressing and holding the CAR and Setup buttons however this has not worked and the menu does not appear....help please

Have you got mmi2g or 3g ?

i think I have the 3G low as I have the following 

MMI 3G low (available from mid 2009):
- Dual SD card slot
- In dash single DVD drive for navigation or music. No CD changer
- 7" low resolution screen
- No "joystick" on MMI control knob

Green menu needs to be enabled using vcds cable 

 

But im supprised as its a factory fit that is not working. You do need to chose your sourse first to use aux
