My list of fault codes

Featured Replies

I think I have the most weard list of fault codes now that I have VCDS (VAG-COM)

Turns out my abs control module is busted too :(  Bosch 0 273 004 284

Brake light works but says switch is faulty, Am 100% sure its related to control module on abs pump

Generic fault list.txt

Oh no! Sorry to hear you've found more faults Craig!

I'm unsure if they're connected to be honest. But I would say it's cheaper to replace the switch first rather than the abs pump!

Then again the abs pump will need to be replaced so in order to pass an mot. (I'm assuming the abs light is on).

Yeah the abs light was on but I have now replaced the pump and the light is off but there is still an fault some wear as the instruments still say abs fault, Plus with my VCDS program on laptop I still can't access the abs control module, Just says mode not supported witch am unsure if its genuinely not supported or faulty and just says it's not supported.

So I guess it's now time to change the switch and then potentially an abs sensor. It's just a case of knowing which one!

Sorry I can't be of more help :/

cheers
