I've read multiple forum posts with contradicting information so was wondering whether anyone can give me a better insight on here. Thanks in advance. Magnet Posted October 16, 2017 Share Posted October 16, 2017 Hello Darren, Sorry, I can't help you with this engine, but if you ring the parts department at your local Audi dealer and enquire about a cambelt kit for your car, the correct answer will be found there - i.e. "It has a chain", or " yes sir, the belt kit will cost you £X".
