00550 INJECTOR FUEL REGULATOR VALVE Help please

Hi all I'm Rich and new to this site which i am hoping will be very helpful. Starting straight away please :whistling1:

Basically I filled my A4 2.0 170BHP with diesel drove from the garage and after about 20 seconds i lost my revs, so put foot on accelerator revved to about 2200rpm then fell off and the car slowed to 8mph and limped along. I kept trying to accelerate but it kept revving to about 2200 then fell off again. I limped car the 400m home turned off engine and restarted with same symptoms idling, revving then revs dropping off. There is also amber lights; flashing engine management, engine control lamp and and esp?

I tried later on that day starting the car again, again the engine started but this time i had no revs at all just idles around 900rpm with same lights. The car still limps along in gear though around 8mph.

I borrowed an OBD reader and the code 00550 START OF INJECTION REGULATION, my handy garage owner drove by at this point and he offered to plug car into his OBD again the code 00550 appeared and indicated INJECTOR FUEL REGULATOR VALVE. Unfortunately he said it was beyond anything he could help with as he is a JAP' car specialist. So i am now very stuck as to what i can do does anybody have any ideas please?

Any help would be much appreciated
