  1. I suffered what seems to be a common fault last week when the rear wiper motor erratically operated without being turned on, and then stopped completely. It turned out to be caused by blocked washer jets which blew out the seals and allowed water into the motor. (The water pipe runs inside the motor spindle.) Fortunately I was recommended to try an independent VAG repairer who not only fitted a new motor in one day but only charged a shade over £200 - a lot cheaper than a Audi main dealer. The moral of the story is to keep washer jets clear.

Just a few words of caution to everybody on this forum,be very careful of a user with the ID of S3bonzo.He offers you stuff to buy, sends you pics of the so-called,you then pay with paypal,he says they are sent, then, you guessed it,nothing arrives.Says posted, but no courier or tracking. He then says he will refund and chase courier, but nothing.Paypal are sorting hopefully.Merry Christmas to all genuine users.

Hi John Welcome to the Forum You will find people here friendly and helpful. Have you tried 7zap.com, search through to find your car, as this will give you the part number, unless you already have it. Or take one of the other center caps off and it might have the part number moulded on the back Best of luck
