  1. Hi if you get on your hands and knees and look under the car the transfer box in the middle and the rear differential are always visible you would have to go some to fake that. Steve.

Hi William and welcome aboard. You may not know much about cars now but if you spend a bit of time in the forums you'll certainly know a lot about Audi problems and what to do about them before long! It's a nice friendly group full of good help and advice and all things Audi. Hope you enjoy it here mate.
  4. The beauty of old cars is that you can normally "see" what is wrong. The 2.0E engine was running bad on idle and not that great when driven either. I spotted that the rubber section between air filter and inlet chamber was lose both at air filter end and indeed onto the oblong air chamber. Removed and checked air filter and replaced carefully making sure fitted tightly and no leaks. Replace plug leads as they looked worse for wear as well as the distributor cap. Both had serious corroding connectors and poor condition overall. Car now runs smooth on idle and is as I would expect it to be. Cleaned up some serious oil leaks around the power steering reservoir. The feed to the pump seems very loos so will change the clamp on the hose.

Bought myself an Audi sq5 2024 , loving it so far . Performance is awesome as is the mpg from such a beast . So much torque from the diesel . Daytona grey with larva red interior ❤️
  6. Yes it's Noleen Mc Cawley. Will this suffice Mr Magnet?
  7. Just as a footnote to this thread, with the size of the engine bay on these surely Audi could've found a way to leave just a couple of inches extra access to the back of the headlights, it's not a lot to ask. Gits!
  8. William. Make sure you piggy back onto a fuse that is on a circuit switched by the ignition key, unless your dashcam has a suitable battery within it to maintain power when the car is not running, else it will flatten the car battery.

I got a second opinion from another garage, and they said that the issue doesn't resemble diesel injector problems. They performed the same tests as the first garage, and the return fuel from the injector chart looked average. They believe the crankcase sensor had failed. After installing a new one, the car started running smoothly. However, my injection system still needs attention as soon as possible. If anyone had the same issue, look at the crankcase sensor location, passenger side (UK), front wheel arch plastic needs to be removed. It's there.
  10. I don't know what the official line is but from my point of view it's nice to be able to use someone's name when answering them rather than a string of letters or numbers, it's just a first name after all, nothing mega.
