  1. Does the car have door open warning lights? Audi got tight with what they added and what should have been standard after 2012 or so. Front headlight washers and rear door open and puddle lights just being some of the kit they quietly dropped or if you wanted them you needed to buy a bundled package. Try https://rocketwires.co.uk/online-shop/ols/products/door-lighting for looms. I've used them and it's straight forward. That allows you to piggy-back into existing wiring. You'll need Torx screwdriver, anti-marr trim tools.
  2. Greetings to all, Just arrived in your forum and i'm glad to find you. I drive a 2019, Audi Q2 30 TDI, which i got just a couple weeks ago,a used one in almost pristine condition. I'm just the second owner of this car. Nice to meeting you. Sotiris.P
  3. Thanks Gareth for your help will update when I have more news.
  4. Hi it was a nightmare removing the cooler the first time a bit like a Heath Robinson jigsaw, two days to get out and a day to get back in with no undue swearing, by time three we had worked out the only real way to do the job with less time was to remove the whole front of the car and disconnect the exhaust and pull the Cat/DPF out of the front so you can get at it, thats what I did first time, cleaned the cooler and got a new valve assembly, guess what that don't work within 30k I had adblue crystals around the exhaust tail pipes where the cooler had corroded and the cooling tubes had collapsed, back to square one, new cooler and managed to salvage the valve, then 60k later replace the lot, YES I would advise steering clear especially as your vehicle has had most of its useful life milage wise why do you think there are so many appearing at what you would consider a bargain price, brain says luxury car dont worry about the milage, Audis are good for milage right, possibly a lot of the others Q3/A3 but not this specimen anything with an ULTRA badge will have the same problem. Steve.
  5. Thanks Ian, Guess it’s now up to Audi to assess paint thickness. If that’s out, then it could be game over - even though they may have carried out paint rectification before you bought it - so that would be down to them. If it is within original paint thickness tolerance, they will probably try to play the ‘aggressive chemicals’ card. Armed with those possibilities, you can now set up your counter argument. Please let us know how you get on Ian. Regards, Gareth.
  6. Thanks Gareth for the reply I’ll take your advice on this topic and go for the Audi 1 litre bottle.Thanks.
  7. In a word: no. They are all worthless. As you have read for yourself, the exclusions mean the policies will not pay for any of the things the average motorist wants covered.
  8. The free health check is free but you wont leave there without a report and quotes for jobs that they deem will need doing in the future, when i had mine done they found nothing wrong with the car but still wanted to sell me expensive tyres which i never needed till the following year and they dont give up they email and call to see when you want to book the car in lol
