I came across this video investigating conversion of halogen to LED headlights. It is American so the brands are irrelevent to us, but what I found interesting was the variation of beam patterns, colour temperatures, heat sink sizes, and drops in output after a few minutes from one brand to another. It seems there is no standard applicable to these bulbs so it is a lottery for anyone to choose what to buy. For myself I shall stick to tungsten lamps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0L4ueGqtTs

Andy. It's unrealistic to expect a valuation without an opportunity to inspect it, to listen to it, to test drive it, or to examine the service history. Look at Autotrader and the like, or go to a dealer.

Hello Andy, Many thanks for joining. Of course, it’s the low mileage which puts this into a different class. In case it helps, it might be worth contacting Car & Classic’s website. They can handle a brokerage type auction for you with varying promotional packages. I know someone who used them last year, and has praised them for their efficiency and ‘safe’ transaction. Got a new battery fitted, however the garage couldn't code it so need to go to an Audi specialist to get that done, but it is running with no faults.

So this is how my 2026 started. Needless to say I can't set off on the right foot because there is a croc of !Removed! 😂 fyi this is no meme!
