  1. Will probably need more information. White smoke is never good, potentially pointing to coolant leaking into oil. Is oil fine, no mayonnaise under the filler cap? This time of year, then batteries tend to fail, especially if it’s over 6 years old. Put a multimeter on it at cold, not running. You need to be pulling 12.4v minimum. If not, then it needs to be replaced, and eventually coded. This will be Euro 5 diesel. Literally could be anything, leaking injector, glow plug issue, etc. Car needs scanned with VCDS to reveal DTC error codes, then go from there.
  2. I think the DRLs are a legal requirement so might fail an MOT if not working. Not sure if you can replace the drl. If you have to replace the headlight your best bet is sourcing a second hand one from eBay.

Treat my Sq5 to a Nomad boot liner , there is a premium version for £40 . But this is a great fit and good quality for the price. More plastic than rubber tbh . No smell.

Glad you're getting on well with it. It's nice to get product recommendations from owners.

If you have to open the system for flushing, it might be worth replacing the reservoir as a precaution. Chinese replacements are only £25.

Hi Phillip Suggest both these issues are dealer related. 1/ Not sure what your phone has to do with remote parking? Park assist works with PMA and PDC sensors on the car as far as I'm aware. It's a 2025 build so will have the latest maps too - in case that's linked in too. 2/ Change your dealer. Now you might be tied in with small-print (if the car was financed for example), but I can't stand poor service. If you're based in Kingson, then the closest Audi dealer to you would be Wimbledon Audi. On new cars - you simply have to ensure car is serviced using genuine Audi parts and you have receipt of work, which in your case will be digital log.
  7. Apologies, but do you get the normal short beep when you select reverse?
  8. Welcome Louise, Do you get a continuous longer lasting bleep when you select reverse - when the rear sensors are playing up? Regards, Gareth.
  9. Thanks folks. Got it sorted. Got from eBay , by filtering parts by my car. Fitted new in , everything works perfect .
  10. Apologies for the gripe, but the forum has recently suffered from a spate of what can be termed ‘Post and Run’ new members, who seem to think it’s perfectly acceptable to post a plea for help, and simply not return to view the help given. In a more diluted form, help is offered, but is very rarely acknowledged even via. a simple press of the Like button, leave alone a posted Thank You. The last part of the gripe is that we frequently have to ask for additional information, and this extra detail often never materialises. Please remember, everyone who posts replies do so without payment, but it certainly does cost them in time - in terms of the Moderators and Admin back up - a lot of time. So a special plea to all on here who post needing help:- please be respectful enough to acknowledge any help given, rather than simply accept it as a no-cost, no time of yours, free advice service. It’s wearing thin folks, so if you want to retain this service, please respect and acknowledge its benefits. Thank you all for reading this, and above all, agreeing to adhere to the respect that is needed to be shown. Kind regards, On behalf of the Moderators. Please note:- This request is to all members, not just new ones. p.s. Please avoid using non specific locations such as U.K., England etc. etc.
