  1. Hi Kia Welcome. You should come to the Bromley Show and display your car on the club stand. The details are on the forum. Tony
  2. Hi David. Welcome If you like taking pictures of all types of cars, you should come to The Bromley Show. Tony
  3. Hi Steve Just been checking recent service history for my car. Brake fluid changed 12k ago. Filters changed with major service 5k ago. All done at Audi. They didn't check history. Rear brakes don't look too bad to me. But, I have booked it in to Audi for cam belt replacement though. Local garage quoting nearly £700, so, Audi doesn't look too bad. Tony
  4. Hi Just got my car back from the Audi Stealership, (Sorry Typo) Dealership. I have paid £160 for a nice valet and pushing a piece of pipe on. Oh, and putting the trim back. They also gave me a list of items that need doing. Cam Belt change £915. (Probably true 59K miles.) Brake fluid change £100. Rear discs and pads. £550. Air filter £60. Pollen Filter £80. Full Service was done by Audi January 2021 56K. Surprising how quickly things wear out these days. Still, I can wash my rear window now. Tony
  5. Hi Steve I hope you mean 50,000 miles not £50,000. Tony
  6. Hi It's a nice day, thought I would tackle my rear screen wash problem. Yes, you are right Steve those clips are quite vicious. I have managed to get two to release but no luck getting the trim removed. It is now stuck, can't get it off, can't get it back as the clips have deformed. The car is going into to Audi Croydon on Monday to sort it out. Will let you know the outcome. Tony
  7. Hi My rear Wiper has no wash. There is a pipe off somewhere in the tailgate as water is coming from the inside of the trim of the tailgate. I have been trying to get the tailgate trim off to no avail. Taken the two screws out of the warning triangle recess. Also the two screws out from either side of the rear light cluster access. Are there any more screws or is it just brute force now. It is so tight I am afraid of breaking something. I don't really want to send it to Audi as they will charge mega bucks to do it. Tony
  8. Hi Steve Just to re-iterate about the Bromley Show. I have been going for many years and it is much more than just a car show. There is something for all of the family, various activities in the event ring, many stalls selling everything from car parts to funny hats. Also there is a beer bus, hot dogs etc. Plus about 1000 cars on show Tony
  9. Hi Steve It would be good to arrange these meets, but I am really disappointed that there is only 3 of us going to the Bromley Show at the moment. Tony
  10. Hi Mark I had this on a BMW 6 series I owned. I had recently changed the oil and cross threaded the oil cap. Therefore the engine was trying to breathe though it. The diagnostic check showed an air mass problem, but luckily problem spotted by mechanic before money changed hands. Tony
  11. Hi Retired 18 years ago from a high pressure job of Sales Manager of an Italian Porcelain floor and wall tile distributor. Travelled the world. Mainly Brazil. Now play golf twice a week, and part time collect and deliver new cars for a multi franchise car distributor.
  12. Hi Steve. I think you mean Paul
  13. You are quite right Steve. It is a voltage stabiliser module. ( Checked part number online)
  14. Hi Andrea I have an A6 Avant that keeps trying to do a DPF recharge. Whilst I don't have any warning lights on it is annoying as the tick over increases and the cooling fans stay on after switch off. I am told it is because I do short journeys. When this happens I put it in sport mode and give it a bit of a blast. This does cure it until the next time. I am not saying this is your problem but perhaps give it a try. Tony
  15. Hi Steve If that is the case. How do get it reinstated? Tony
  16. Hi. Half of the google maps logo is greyed out in the MMi display. Any ideas Tony
  17. Hi Steve It sounds like you have tried these. I think the problem will be getting the door mirror apart. Looked at the videos, looks straight forward but from experience things are never that simple.
  18. Hi Whilst looking for sweeping front indicator lights, I have stumbled on sweeping door mirror indicators from the USA. I have ordered a set (under £13.00) will let you know what they are like, and if they work or not. Thought I would risk £13.00 just to see. Tony
  19. Hi Kev I thought it was post 2014 on the A6's. But I am not sure. Tony
  20. Hi Steve Thanks for the reply. I think I will leave well alone. Sounds like this could cause a whole heap of trouble. Tony
  21. Hi I have sweeping rear indicators on my 2016 A6 Avant. Has anyone tried converting the front indicators to do the same? Or perhaps it can't be done. Tony
  22. Hi Gareth Of course. Dymuniadau Gorau Tony
  23. Hi Gareth I was at Nathanial Cars 2 weeks ago collecting stock. Yes, they have got their fair share. Tony
  24. I mentioned about the MG ZS, and today I noticed MG are not going to import any new petrol cars for the rest of 2022 as their 2022 target of 45000 units was reached at the end of February.
