  1. Hi Kev I thought it was post 2014 on the A6's. But I am not sure. Tony
  2. Hi Steve Thanks for the reply. I think I will leave well alone. Sounds like this could cause a whole heap of trouble. Tony
  3. Hi I have sweeping rear indicators on my 2016 A6 Avant. Has anyone tried converting the front indicators to do the same? Or perhaps it can't be done. Tony
  4. Hi Gareth Of course. Dymuniadau Gorau Tony
  5. Hi Gareth I was at Nathanial Cars 2 weeks ago collecting stock. Yes, they have got their fair share. Tony
  6. I mentioned about the MG ZS, and today I noticed MG are not going to import any new petrol cars for the rest of 2022 as their 2022 target of 45000 units was reached at the end of February.
  7. I can't believe the price of good used cars these days. I purchased my fully loaded A6 Avant Black Edition in January 2021 it is now worth £6k more than when I purchased it. It seems the used car trade has gone completely haywire since the shortness of chips etc. A friend of mine just bought a new Mercedes E class with out the Sat. Nav fitted which hopefully would be done on recall. I have a part time job of delivering and collecting new cars. At the moment I am collecting used MG ZS EV's for more money than we were selling new ones for a few months ago.
  8. Hi Loken Looks pretty good to me. Tony
  9. Hi Steve. Got my tickets. Do you know how big our club area is? Tony
  10. I had my reverse camera fitted by Autologics. I agree the job was superb and the camera is great.
  11. Hi Tommy Regarding the passenger doors not opening, it is probably not programmed to do so by your key. This can rectified in the MMI system. As to the fans running on it is a sign of the DPF regenerating. Run the car in sport mode for a few miles.
  12. I have just had Autologics fit a reversing camera to my A6 Avant. Really great job, did it at home on the driveway Give them a call. Tony
  13. Yes they made a really good job. Did it at home on the driveway. Checked it out this morning wouldn't even know any thing had been done. Brilliant sharp picture probably going to drive in reverse from now on. Just like to say "Audi" to everyone and have a great Christmas.
  14. Hi Just had a reverse camera fitted by Autologics. Really good job, took approx 2 hours at home. Missed the one fitted to my previous Merc. £500 odd quid well spent.
  15. Hi Welcome. I agree with Gareth, I think the wheels look fine as they are. I changed all the badges on mine to black, in keeping with the Black Edition spec. Tony
  16. Hi Went to the Audi dealership for my Ad Blue, guess what, "out of stock" Might have it in before Christmas, give us a ring. Some members may know I am a part time driver for a multi franchise dealer. So I went to the stores. "Got any Ad Blue?" Of course, was the reply, I could do 20 litres for £20.00 to you. Do you want it put in? Yes please. Anyway 10 minutes later job done. It took 15 litres so I was pleased I bought the 20 litres. Should have gone there in the first place. While I was there got a job delivering a new car to Leeds on Friday, so, money in the bank as well. Tony
  17. Hi Steve The way you explain it, it seems quite straight forward. Golf comp. cancelled for tomorrow due to weather, probably give it a go. Will let you know. Tony
  18. Hi Thanks for the replies. Going to the dealership on Thursday to purchase the ad blue, and if I make out I am helpless, perhaps they will do it for me. Tony
  19. Hi. Just had the Ad Blue warning notice appear telling me I have 1500 miles left in the tank. Any ideas how much the tank will take to top it up? What is the best one to buy? As it is so corrosive should I take it to the Audi dealership to have it done? Tony
  20. You are right Steve. This is why I can't give up my diesel, I need the extra torque to move me and the car.
  21. Has anybody used Audi Retrofit in Iver. Bucks? Thinking about having a rear view camera fitted by them.
  22. As some people know, I deliver and collect new cars. A good few of them now are electric so I have some experience of recharging, mostly on motorways. I must admit things have got better recently. Gridserve is the easiest, they are new, all seem to be operating, just plug in, swipe your credit card, go and have a cup of tea and a piece of cake. Trouble is for a full charge it usually takes 90 minutes. The full charge is usually costing between £9 and £10.
  23. My A6 has MMI display. Did you plumb yours into this?
  24. Hi Glen Welcome. Sounds like you have been busy. Did you fit your RVC yourself? If so was it fairly straight forward, and what cost was involved? Tony
