  3. yeah steve is right,this is a very common problem with avants.
  4. they look nice with the red alright.its hard to know what suits a car until theyre on it.
  5. theres a shot of my wheels,i took them off and gave them a deep clean so dont be fooled thinking theyre always this shiny!

  10. i had very similar problems on a golf gti a few years ago,tried everything, fuel pump,relays,and loads other parts,eventually i had the emmobiliser bypassed and it cured it straight away.greg
  11. i know in the tt headlights theres a little switch inside the unit,im sure other models have it too.greg

  15. this is very bad on audi for a 2019 car to have such a fault,im sure its very annoying for any owner to have this happening.

  19. hi gareth,thanks for the advice,ill check it out as id say this could be a solution because they seem in good condition but water is getting in in certain areas and they are robust enough to take some type of tubing.thanks again.
  20. hi all.im looking for the rubber door seals for my 95 coupe as mine are perished,ive tried all the usual places ebay etc,audi tradition have them but at nearly 2k i cant justify buying them.im wondering if theres any procedure worth doing that would renew my own ones,second hand rubbers would probably be in the same state as my own,any suggestions welcome!thanks greg.

  22. hi ian,id say you need to replace the motor and check for leaks before fitting the new one.water has gotten into it and theyre the symptons your getting

  24. i know in my 95 coupe it happens after about 20 mins if its just sitting ticking over but i know these cars run hot anyway and its a lot older!
  25. i had a 2004 model steve and mine went the same way,it was the hazard switch that had failed.an easy fix.
