Right . It could be a number of things . Most common is broken plug on one of the motors. Also it could be wiring loom issue or broken motor itself . Best way to check is with vcds scan for faults . it could be also the button itself Or 1. Check if both wheel motors are working . Simly listen to each side and get someone to apply the brake. Let us know if both motors are working

On my 2006 a6 when i stop the engine and take the key off the ignition will automaticly turn the iterior lights on , dont have to open doors . But mine is not keyless . When you switch the engine off using stop/start button thr dome lights should light up

Next job to tacle was satnav on my mmi2g high . Mine wasnt working as the dvd unit failed. Bought one on ebay and it was simple swap . I took the bracket out in the left hand side of the boot out, 4 screws . Unplugged power fiber and gps antena cable . Unit is held by 2 clips on each side same as a standard stereo. Popped new one in and done. Also i got new 2017 maps from ebay (2 dvds west and east europe ). Pop in the dvd and instalation process will start automaticly . At the end it will ask you to press return button for reset Important when buying maps for mmi2g high is to make sure you buy maps with TMC for live traffic updates A while back i did a mmi2g high soft upgrade that is nessesary for the new maps to work. If anyone needs help with this please ask :)

Mib systems require licence update from audi this is why it cost a lot more... On old systems you could copy from sd to sd and it worked . On mib you cannot ... Im sure someone will figure it out soon but for now audi is the only option

Gearbox mounts ? I change mine and it helped a lot on my 3.0 tdi quattro tiptronic recently

Get a vcds scan in a local garage . It will show if its sensors or module

How long you had the car ? Was it always smoke ? Does it smokes when cold? hot? engine Does it smoke on start up only or all the time ? With colder weather and condensation you may notice more smoke then usual Best to do a vcsd injector test first to see if values are in the range , if not they need to come out and be tested on a special jig for injestors.

Yes that will be broken sensors. You can check by listening for a click on reverse or if you hold your finger you will feel a pulse on the one that is working . Another way is to do a vcds scan for faults that will tell you . Its bumper off to swap and test before the bumper goes back in ! :)

Its factory locked. The eject button is disabled. You need vcds to enable

It all depends on the system. Prices from ebay mmi 2g - update cost £20 ( 2 dvds ) Mmi3g low - around £30 (dvd) Mmi3g high hdd - around £70 ( 1 cd firmware and 2 sd cards maps) Mib and mib 2 - not sure as they are new systems from 2015 +

I presume your sound settings are set correct balance fader front back etc ? Is it an oem audi system or aftermarket ?

Go for b&o !!! . I have bose in my 2006 a6 and its milion time better then standard
