You will be better off buying an aftermarket set. Its a pain and expensive to retrofit oem set

Your gearbox is tiptronic ? ( 6 speed ) If so you have zf6hp19a . There are 2 types of oil depending of gearbox software , zf lifeguard 6 and zf lifeguard 8 If you go to audi they will tell you the tranny is " sealed for life " and they wont change oil but they will sell you correct oil+filter by vin number. Get zf oem oil Zf who made these gearboxes recomend oil change every 90k. Also there is a procedure to change oil in them so you need to find a good garage. Its good to do a flush firts so any metal shavings will be removed as they will kill your tranny Hope this helps as i spend a year looking in to this :) .

The letter at the end is revision code. It could be the older model with has less controls

I have obdelevenpro and its great. What exactly you want to turn on/off in hidden menu ? Also be carefull as you can easly messup the system...

Right . I presume you replaced the unit like for like with the same part number , and you connected everything as it should be Do a vcds scan to see if there are any errors . Also im not sure in your model but audi has CP. Component protection could kick in that could explain this. Vcds scan will show of this is the problem

Speed camers are added as POI(point of interest to most of satnavs Unfortunetly audi mmi does not have this option

Next mod 2jet windscreen washers swap for spray jets Parts required First you need spray jets (wv part) 5M0 955 986 (heated) 5M0 955 985 (not heated ) Then adaptors 8E0 955 431(from audi) To take the old ones out you simply lift the bonnet up. Unclip the old ones carefuly not to brake off the hoses and heating connection This the diffrence of how they look . Now on top To make sure new spray jets aim at the windscreen you need to get the opening bigger. There is an adjuster screw next to the spray but it dosent go up enough. So i have filled away about 3mm so it looks like this Next are the addapters. Old 2 jets are bigger . So adapters are fitted first and then new sprsy jets Then its connect the hose and electical connectors , push in the spray jet . Test and set up the spray and done Spray jets costed me £11 on ebay auction and adapters i got from local audi parts £2.80 Here how its look like. Massive improvment

Hella was very popular back then. Also check if you can unscrew the lense only or it comes as one unit .

You most likely have mmi2g high (colour screen ) or mmi2g low ( red monochromatic screen ) You can update software to 55.70 and maps ( dvd rom in the boot ) . Can you eject the dvd out ? Usualy its factory locked and requires coding with vcds to enable eject

Hey steve. Are the fog lights made by hella ? There should be a logo on the lense or a serial number on the outer casing Driver or passanger ? Also what year is your escort ?
