Hello! I am 邪 proud owner of an Audi a6 c7 3.0bitdi. The car suddenly started losing antifreeze at 500 ml per 1000 km. The heating of car works perfectly, it doesn't overheat, the engine is dry. With more aggressive driving, it loses more antifreeze. Also, after about 500 km of driving, the first 5-10 minutes it smokes thick, white smoke. Can you give me some advice?

I am really not getting a clear idea of the situation here. Some sort of software was updated, but it is not known which and why. The battery was tested, but no results have been presented to support the "all good" conclusion. The mechanic's "cpu is good but not perfect" so its conclusions can not be relied on. In the absense of firm information about the diagnoses I really cannot add anything further to this topic, however I wish you luck in solving the problem. -

Me too lol. Getting the remap removed on Monday morning so I鈥檓 hoping if they dig a little deeper that they won鈥檛 be able to tell

Got pea e if mind you could get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Alternatively give it another week to see how you get on.

Audi dealers are notoriously expensive when it comes to repairs. Have you tried a local garage/repair shop? I assume such places still exist in the USA.

You're best going off the part numbers -
