AUDI A3 2.0 PREMIUM PLUS 2020 wrong fuel level in the tank
Hi its got sod all to do with the tank sensors its the manky gauge every car I have ever come across with that system, Peugeot, Citroen, Dacia its a cheap and nasty bit of kit, you can either get the dealer to recalibrate it, if they can, or ask them where to get virtual fuel. Steve.

missing parts
Audi parts dept do not have a part number for the 2026 top cover as they are not made. If you have open threaded holes in your engine rocker cover that match the earlier 35tfsi then you can get a top cover from the earlier model. You will need to get the mounting pins as well.

New member recently bought a 2015 1.4 tfsi from Singapore
My wife has now been driving the Q3 for about 4 weeks and it has been fine and considerably cheaper to run than the 650i both in petrol and insurance costs. No problem replacing it for the 650i on my multi car insurance. Did have a little bit of a holdup of a couple of weeks with getting it UK registered as DVLA wanted a extra £10 for the 1st years tax on top of the £190 I sent them originally so making it £200 for the year as there was no exact CO2 data on the export certificate so they sent the cheque back and I had to send them another one.

Fuses
Hi, me again. When trying to troublseshoot my Aircon issue, I was going through the fuses. When checking the cluster in the boot I noticed one was labeled “Quattro Sport”. It’s a 35amp fuse and missing from mine. to be honest I’m not sure if it’s meant to be missing but i had a gear box issue fixed and when it came back sport mode didn’t work. I won’t bore you with the reasons why I left it, but other than that the gearbox has been fine, but I wonder if this fuse has been forgotten? I’ve tried to search online but that just returns searches relating to the sound-system/Amp. 2012 Q5 S-Line+ Anyone with any ideas

Aircon Troubleshooting
Good morning all, Ever since we got our Q5 the aircon has never worked. It’s one of those things “I’ll get done next month” but next month never arrives. Anyway, I’ve actually got on with it and took it to be re-gassed. Still didn’t work. The blowers work, normal heating works, the controls all work, it just won’t get cold. I’ve even check all the fuses. I realise it going to have to go in to be looked but thought I’d raise it here in case it is a driveway job and if not, at least know what I’m looking at. It’s a 2012 S-Line Quattro Thanks in advance.

Help darnest thing new engine falters and doesn't have power
I don't understand the first post bit, you bought a new engine, then put it into storage for 2 years and then got the issue, or was the new engine put in after the 2 year storage. The fuel would be 2 years old unless you drained it and the fuel filter would be blocked. I fitted a brand new engine from vw into a transporter and they hadn't tightened the new injectors from the factory, I would be checking everything in case its not sealing properly. Did the new engine come timed up, the vw one had no belt and no fuel pump but it had injectors.

Turbo muffler delete for K03 turbo
So.. update on this incase anyone out there comes across this thread: There are 2 variations of turbo for the early A3 8P's early versions (like mine, with the asymmetric bolt pattern on the muffler) were manufactured by Borg Warner later versions use a IHI turbo (which uses the symmetric bolt pattern on the muffler) There is still a muffler delete out there, RTMG maufacture one which looks to fit, although I've yet to try it: RTMG PerformanceMuffler Delete for K03 Turbocharger 1.8 TSIMuffler Delete Adapter for Borg Warner KKK K03 1.8 TSI EA888 Gen 1 & Gen 2 Turbochargers. The K03 Turbocharger has a muffler in the compressor housing which resonates with the turbocharger noise a

Audi S6 track car build
Just a small update, while waiting for the ecu to arrive, nearly all wiring that is not required has been removed. The ecu will go behind the glovebox as thats where the engine wiring will come through. The column switches will probably be removed, as the new switches will be on the new steering wheel.

HELP - heater core replacement
Hi Kyle, I just filled it up to the max line, started the car and let it run for few minutes, then topped it up a bit more. Took it for a 5 mile drive and checked the level after, let it cool down and topped it up again. (keep monitoring for a few days after) Hope this helps

A3 Sportback (8PA) 1.8 TFSI PCV Valve replacement
ooof! £200 is wild for what it actually is. I did purchase the part linked and have been running it for a few months now with no issue. It just stings when you see the alternate part for the later versions of this engine going for £25 - £30 for well known aftermarket manufacturers. Either way I hope it helps with OP!

Limp Mode, Bunch of random codes
Hi Cliff P2002 is like the tax man it won't go away unless you pay for it, just discovered Jimmy O Riley's latest Ultra posting whereby the code is present and can't be cleared due to some Clown trying to delete Low/High pressure DPF software so even after cleaning the code won't go and the DPF won't regenerate, he apparently now has the facility to re flash the ECU with the standard software and that seems to work but only after cleaning, he also states that the problem will always return because of the design, believe me it always came back on my car and that had practically every emissions part renewed at some point, they are just money pits. Steve.
