  2. David. I have merged your latest post into an identical one you posted on May 18th last year. Have you even bothered to read the reply from Steve Q?
  3. It is worth trying to negotiate with the owner directly, rather than through the middle man, if that is possible and legal in Singapore. You may not get any where, but if other possible buyers have looked at, and rejected, the car on the basis of the repair cost, he may be tempted to compromise.
  4. Update , 2 new tyre on front, so new tyres all around , still humming . So my only other thinking is a wheel bearing, on same side as the cv joint was changed on .
  5. I'd definitely recommend speaking to the company that sold you it. Just in case they sold you the wrong parts to make it fit your dash.
  6. If bought from a dealer within the first 30 days of sale then you're entitled to a full refund or for them to fix the car free of charge
  7. Keep us posted on how you get on
  8. Paul would you care to edit your last message. I think you omitted your own text as it contains nothing but quotations of the two previous messages.
  9. Seen loads of these stories. If selling a car make sure you're not alone. Make sure they either come alone or with one other person. Anymore people refuse to see them.
  10. Hello David, This thread originated 4 years ago, so could you start a new thread and clearly outline your symptoms -as you would if starting from scratch. Many thanks, Gareth
  11. You need to get a pry-bar on the suspension. Arms are usually good for around 80k miles. Upper arms possibly. An inspection of the engine and transmission mount would be worthwhile as suggested. If you are changing arms, Meyle HD or Lemforder only.

  13. The clusters can't be swapped out easily as they have the imobiliser built in.
  14. Yes I have had a look here and on other places to could not find anything I think it something to do with the blend door vent thing as on drive side you can feel the air con slightly but passenger side just stay on what ever the temp is set to with no air con
  15. Warning points now issued.
  16. Hello Andrew, You seemed to have joined and posted at the same time, and not returned since to read and acknowledge the advice you asked for. Any particular reason?
  17. I ask, since you joined and posted on the same day, and are yet to read the advice you asked for. Please read the initial pre - posting request referring to just that situation.
  18. Thanks Cliff. Yeah I wouldn't expect it to be cheap tbh.🙂 Having to just put up with it for now until it can be seen, so will just be pleased to get it sorted.

    DAB Radio

Thank you Richard. I very much did have DAB for three years then it just dropped off suddenly in March or April. All of my saved DAB Radio stations still exists in my 'Memory'. The coincidence of me losing my DAB when everyone else did is too great to ignore, but perhaps it IS the DAB antenna ???? So that may be Audi Barnstaple and a large bill then ! Your help is much appreciated, thank you.
  20. I'm after a PFL B5 A4/S4 drivers wing, preferably in noggy blue, but will take any colour if the sing is solid with no bad rust issues.
  21. Last week
  22. Does anybody know if it is possible to increase the volume of the bleep on the sign based speed reminder. Thank you for your help
  23. Hi I’ve got the exact Same fault on my A4, did you find a fix?
  24. You're welcome, doesn't sound like the battery is at fault. Could it be an issue with the instrument cluster?
  25. This article might help: Either way check near the manifold, cat, or other places along the exhaust or even dpf.
  26. You're welcome. If it is the ballast then this can be changed but might need to be coded in.
  27. You don’t need a tester to inspect the condition of the cables within the flexible harness section Kieran.
