  2. Does the A3 have the mild hybrid 48v/12v system? If it does then it should be covered by the 7 year extension. My RS6 was repaired by Mon Motors who own Bristol Audi but at Audi Bath.
  3. Did you transfer the door modules from the old doors to the new doors? As this could be the issue

  5. Fairly sure it is. I'm now bias but it felt more planted and less pitch and roll. Not to be too blunt about it but these are mile munching exec cars with some added oomph. I regular do 275 mile trips without a stop, get 41+ MPG while still 'making progress', have some fun and I get out ready to do a days work. My wife hates it, too big and too many lights and buttons but this just given me more opportunity to drive it. The difference between Eco and Dynamic is marked in mine but even in Dynamic the 4-wheel steering maybe making some of the sensation you are expecting, compared to my E350d Merc I had before it took some time to get full attuned. Interestingly I have a client that took delivery of an RS6 at the same time as I got my S6, he has no idea what's under his right foot as he doesn't use it and his eats tyres, maybe that how they make it feel more direct! Can you get Matrix headlights on the current S6? I was told mine was one of the last to get them because of component shortages and Audi wouldn't be reintroducing them until the next gen was released.
  6. In the future, however, I would still consider matte black or gloss black, but in the end I decided on a copper colour for another model, even though I was still thinking about the granite colour that many people had urged me to go for.
  7. Hiccups or erratic engine operation at certain RPMs can be caused by problems with the ignition system or fuel system. Ignition misfire or erratic fuel delivery can cause unstable engine operation. Additionally, if the fuel injectors are contaminated or damaged, this can lead to erratic fuel delivery to the engine, affecting engine operation at certain rpm. I would also consider damage to the exhaust system, such as leaks, holes or damage to the muffler, can affect engine performance under certain conditions, including at certain rpm, or damaged or malfunctioning sensors, such as the crankshaft position sensor (CKP) or throttle pedal position sensor (TPS), can affect engine performance under certain conditions.
  8. I paid something like 1400€ for the flywheel + about 700€ of work. But I would rather also change the double clutch when it is already in one job, so a total of about 3000€ (unfortunately)
  9. Hello, at the top of the door, are there tweeters (the ones near the mirror) or is that grille just for decoration? (since there are speakers for high speakers near the windshield, in the dashboard). Tutuapp 9Apps
  10. Hi I have a Vauxhall corsa existence 08 and after I first force my car whilst engine is cold in most gears automobile is sluggish and when pressing accelerator tougher it hits a factor where it slows after which kicks in and works exceptional. It best occurs while engine bloodless and after is completely excellent. Any thoughts of purpose?? Kodi
  11. Looks the ABS is a fault , the 00814 is the brake servo but it's working as the pressure sensor inside is recognised, the ABS pump is working when I engage it on the OBDELEVEN so I'm hoping it's software issue as I've changed the faulty speed sensor or it's a electrical issue with thr ABS .

  18. Is anyone interested in going to Das GTI at Santa Pod tis year? Sunday 29th September 2024 at Santa Pod Raceway Car Show With Run What Ya Brung on Saturday 28th September 2024 A German car show at Santa Pod for Audi, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Porsche and more. With German or VAG only RWYB plus Show & Shine Competition, Das Autotest and more. German engineering takes over for “Das GTI Show”. German car manufacturers are extremely popular on the roads in the UK; whether you’re looking for an efficient hatchback, high performance monster or touch of class, the chances are you’ve at least thought about buying a German machine before. The modern line of performance vehicles makes them popular on the drag strip too with the likes of the BMW M series, Audi RS series, VW R and GTI series or even Mercedes AMG series all capable of recording some mightily impressive ¼ mile times. Then we have Porsche whose name speaks for itself in the automotive world! We can’t wait to see which one of these marque heavy weights ends up on top of the pile at the end of the weekend. Camping available onsite so come for the weekend. https://santapod.co.uk/das-gti-show.php

  20. Wowzers! That's very expensive. Fingers crossed the second hand unit works 🤞
  21. I'd definitely recommend a second opinion on this. Alternatively contact Audi customer services
  22. Hello! Im looking for a new or nearly new wingback seat for the B7 RS4 or a genuine replacement leather for it on the off chance anyone has one! thanks
  23. Will do, is there anywhere that has electronic connector pinout info?
  24. Hello! Looking for genuine new or nearly new condition RS4 Wingback seats. Alternatively happy with new covers as long as they are genuine if anyone has any?! Thanks!
  25. Hello, and thank you for the informative video. I'm hoping you can give me some insight into a problem I am having with my 2015 ford flex limited. For the last couple of months my flex has developed a stutter between 25 to 45 miles mph. I can see the tach jumping during this stutter.
  26. I think for me as a woman finding an honest mechanic is the biggest "diagnostic^ I could ever perform. Some of these noises are a simple fix but keeping a mechanic honest is definitely the hardest part. I experienced #8 the hot rod noise. Guess what it was? A shady mechanic stoled my catalytic converter and replaced it with a welded pipe. Just yesterday another one replaced a perfectly good engine mount instead of the actual problem which was the arm which is worn out and left it up to me to decide whether to replace the mount or not. So literally all he needed to do was tightened up the old engine mount along with the worn out arm until I returned with the correct part but instead he went ahead and changed a perfectly good part just because he wanted those $40 right then and there. It is 2 am and it's still bothering me so I decided to research further... it's because of people like you, providing educational videos like this that I catch the problems mechanics don't care to find. I just happened to find your video on a totally different subject along the eay.
  27. Thanks for clarifying Steve, I thought I’d seen reference to this (duplicated?) thread before. Bless you if you are learning from me! The pupil will only be as good as the tutor - so that’s not saying much! Take care, and good luck to Wendy with her battery check. Kind regards, Gareth.
