  2. Hey don't shoot me down!! Death pipe is what the the bunch over on the A2 owners club and other sites call it (Not me) I assumed you all called it that I'm new to the A2 FSI just looking for help and advice please don't jump on me with For goodness sake it's only leaking coolant pipe!! That's not much help to me or anyone else
  3. Example for the Audi A6 2019 (MY2020). Part list as it did not fit on the screen grab.

  5. I think a fundamental problem might be that some dealers will check to see if there is a Recall on a car. By this I mean a Recall that is proactively pushed to owners even if their vehicle is fine. I could be wrong, but I think that some dealers may not realise that there are a number of active Recall items that only become applicable if a given unit fails. In my case the affected part was the MHEV Belt Starter Generator.(BSG) Whilst it should not be necessary, it is worth keeping an eye on what recalls are in place on your car, so that if a relevant fault occurs you can take the evidence to Audi. An example is in my post above. This information is on the gov.uk website at https://www.check-vehicle-recalls.service.gov.uk/recall-type/vehicle/make
  6. Wasted advice I'm afraid Steve. Swansea has not been back to the forum since posting his question.
  7. Audi number is 032121065b If you want to google it. Its a pain of a job to do so only want to do it once hence the metal one if I can find one, Have a good weekend,
  8. "Death pipe" is the sort of term I expect from America where everything is exaggerated to make a minor problem seem major. For goodness sake, it's only a leaking coolant pipe. It happens on all cars.
  9. That should have said another challenge keyboard playing up sorry folks,
  10. Sorry to hear that
  11. Yes my brother has all the diagnostic kit betty him to bring it over is an challenge
  12. Yes, no issues again today. I'll see how it goes, will let you know if there's any further developments. Rgds, Rich
  13. Pd engine is a very reliable engine. Check for mayo round the oil filler. Might be worth getting the engine pressure tested. Obviously worse case scenario is a head gasket.
  14. Sorry to hear this. If the warranty company are refusing to honour the unlimited labour rate then I'd argue this is warranty has been miss sold. So the dealer is partly responsible for this. I'd open a case with the motoring ombudsman but you'll be waiting 4 months for a case to be assigned.
  15. If bought from a dealer they should fix this free of charge in the first 30 days after sale.
  16. Yeah it’s very annoying this is my last issue tho hahaha hopefully 🤞 I have a pd130 awx code
  17. Might be worth getting a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  18. Sorry to hear of your other issue. What engine has the car got?
  19. Please keep us posted on any developments.
  20. Well every day is a school day. Never heard of this issue before.
  21. Wowsers that's expensive for a dpf. Definitely worth getting a forced regen and/or get the dpf physically cleaned out.
  22. Yes, they do lock automatically if the doors or boot aren’t opened, following the car being opened with the fob. No, it should not lock if the key is in the ignition.
  23. So all we now need to know is exactly what has been replaced at the various services and when.
  24. Audi number is 032121065b If you want to google it. Its a pain of a job to do so only want to do it once hence the metal one if I can find one, Have a good weekend,
  25. Yeah will do, I did read somewhere it relocks itself if it does'nt register a door being opened will have to look if the dash display shows the door open. Thanks for your reply have a good weekend
  26. IMG_3583.mov Hello again I was not able to code the keys in this way unfortunately it wouldn’t allow me I just coded them with vcds . I have another issue the car is down on power and is misfiring with white smoke I have no fault codes present I’m thinking possibly injector issue I’m a bit confused by it hahaha what are yere thoughts I attached a video I’m not sure if ye can see it or not IMG_3583.mov
  27. No, the fob batteries will not cause that. It might be worth looking at the wires inside the rubber bellows between door and frame. Fracture of those wires is a common fault in other models.
