  2. Excellent, thank you for contributing your direct comparisons. is there any other not so immediate and obvious perks with the air suspension? the sales chap was guiding me around an RS6 being the closest he could demonstrate and mentioned that in dynamic mode it will lower the suspension slightly and also has adaptive ride height. Is this the same for the Vorsprung S6? Does the car feel like it’s a 2.5t car with this air suspension or more agile? I noted in the courtesy car I was given 2020 TDI 50 I drove with the s suspension with damper control it felt like it gripped well but felt heavy and some what unresponsive going over bumps in the road sort of like the older models of range rover sport where the weight shifted and you felt the suspension stiffen up with a little body roll but otherwise you’d have to lift off the throttle to shift the weight back onto the front of the chassis for the feedback when taking a tight corner or bend with a mild gradient spiritedly. Wasn’t quite the directness I was hoping for in a saloon/estate Quattro. having said that the RS6 seem to have this addressed.
  3. Thank you for this. I’ve been told that by Bristol, Audi A3s aren’t covered and it’s only Q7s that have an extended 7year warranty. I don’t know if this is the case? They are refusing to help me as I hadn’t had my latest services at their branch and I’m out of warranty by 5 months. They’re also saying I may need to pay for a new battery as well as a 2k alternator. I’m glad yours was able to be repaired.
  4. In the future, however, I would still consider matte black or gloss black, but in the end I decided on a copper colour for another model, even though I was still thinking about the granite colour that many people had urged me to go for.
  5. Hiccups or erratic engine operation at certain RPMs can be caused by problems with the ignition system or fuel system. Ignition misfire or erratic fuel delivery can cause unstable engine operation. Additionally, if the fuel injectors are contaminated or damaged, this can lead to erratic fuel delivery to the engine, affecting engine operation at certain rpm. I would also consider damage to the exhaust system, such as leaks, holes or damage to the muffler, can affect engine performance under certain conditions, including at certain rpm, or damaged or malfunctioning sensors, such as the crankshaft position sensor (CKP) or throttle pedal position sensor (TPS), can affect engine performance under certain conditions.
  6. I paid something like 1400€ for the flywheel + about 700€ of work. But I would rather also change the double clutch when it is already in one job, so a total of about 3000€ (unfortunately)
  7. I have also seen that the aftermarket ones for our cars are very hard to find or out of stock everywhere !!! Can I ask how much the dealer charged for the original part.

  9. Hello, at the top of the door, are there tweeters (the ones near the mirror) or is that grille just for decoration? (since there are speakers for high speakers near the windshield, in the dashboard). Tutuapp 9Apps
  10. hello, the manufacturer LUK wrote to me that the flywheels are different, so unfortunately they cannot be exchanged. The spare part from Luk for the 40tdi should be in stock by the end of June (in the Czech Republic). Unfortunately I couldn't wait that long and took the original part.
  11. Hey all! Given the wealth of records available from anyone, I'm soliciting for a bit bit of recommendation. My vehicle has continually had this difficulty, while accelerating with the throttle extra than 50% depressed, the automobile will every now and then hiccup (much like hitting a rev limiter or gasoline reduce?) It does it perhaps best a few times and it happens simplest after kickdown. New spark plugs and plug wires did not do the trick. I desired to get a few advice earlier than searching into pricer stuff just like the cap + rotors or EZL. 192.168.100.1 192.168.1.1
  12. Hi I have a Vauxhall corsa existence 08 and after I first force my car whilst engine is cold in most gears automobile is sluggish and when pressing accelerator tougher it hits a factor where it slows after which kicks in and works exceptional. It best occurs while engine bloodless and after is completely excellent. Any thoughts of purpose?? Kodi
  13. Looks the ABS is a fault , the 00814 is the brake servo but it's working as the pressure sensor inside is recognised, the ABS pump is working when I engage it on the OBDELEVEN so I'm hoping it's software issue as I've changed the faulty speed sensor or it's a electrical issue with thr ABS .
  14. Hi I have a Audi a6 c8 2019 40Tdi as was wondering if you have managed to find out any information for the flywheel as I am also looking for some help
  15. Thanks Steve much appreciated. Yes info is for ulez, it’s compliant now. Just trying to see how it measures against future euro7 as there are a few articles online recently that’s they have agreed the standards
  16. The certificate of conformity has to be requested by the owner to the manufacturer. It baffles me it doesn't just come with the car. I'm assuming this is for London ulez? If so you should be able to check a card conformity by the reg on the TFL site.

Has anyone had problems with this Thank in advance Mark
  18. Hi Anton, thanks for replying. Car has done 53k miles and we’ve had it since new. Peter
  19. Hi all, Potential SQ5 owner here looking for a little info if possible please! There isn’t any official info on the web on what the nox and particulate emissions are for the car (co2 is everywhere but not these). I am looking at 2016 SQ5’s so it’s the diesel 3L engine (With tech and touring pack). The few i have found dont have the certificate of conformity and audi helpline told me they cant give out this info, so i wondered if anyone who has their COC handy, would be able to let me know the info please? Would really appreciated! Thank you
  20. Having driven bot a Vorsprung and a none Vorsprung S6 prior to purchasing mine they are both very component cars and both have a pleasant ride quality with one up, where the Vorsprung wins hands down is when towing and/or fully loaded you just don't know on the air suspension. Other than the MPG I'm not really aware I'm towing 1.4 tonnes and carrying 150Kg in the boot! My decision was also based on mine being a keeper. I've always been a firm believer they you add as few option as possible because these cost for these is generally written off the day it leaves the showroom (with a few exceptions) so I'm hoping mine will be worth a lot more than an A6 with lots and lots of options as and when it's time to move it on in 9 years time.

    Air suspension

Level sensors are prone to sticking.
  22. Hi Peter I don't know that much about manual cars and gearboxes, but, it sounds like the clutch release bearing has seen better days. How many miles has the car done? Tony

    Air suspension

Try cleaning the electrical connector 1st. If it’s now working, it sounds like either a mechanical or electrical poor/ loose/stiff connection (mechanical connector could be stiff, so not moving with car to axle movement, or damaged?) has to be cheaper than a new level unit. I had to replace one in a Lexus RX450. £500!

    Air suspension

After 3 weeks of being sat on one side, the q7 magically rises itself and now all 4 airbags are filled with air. I have no idea how this happened as i have done nothing other than try to figure out what the problem was. I did keep an eye on it to see if overnight it starts to sag or drop but, all good. I have tried to spray soapy water on the airbags but no leak. I did have the green light on and the yellow light on for the air suspension but now the green light has gone and just the yellow one is on. The code i am getting for that is 01772 which is for the level control pressure sensor which apparently is in the valve block so im considering replacing that and seeing how it goes from there
  25. My Audi is out of the initial warranty but despite having extended warranty I was assured the repairs were done entirely under the extended 7 year part specific warranty for the alternator…..including the loan car
