A3 tdi bkd bottom egr pipe

Hi guys new to this forum so hope I'm in right place.my lads a3 tdi had what sounded like exhaust blow so I got underneath and found this pipe blowing I presume it' to do with egr .my question is can I blank that pipe of? As my lad needs to get back to Midlands tomorrow so wont be able to get replacement.  Thanks

Hi Darren welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) 

you'llbe able to patch it up for your son to get home but it will need fixing. 

Unfortunately the egr and dog.filters not long can be removed as they are being included in.the MOT as of May this year. 

By.the way I've hidden your other thread as it was a duplicate.
