Right Tyre Pressure

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I collected my new Q5 ten days ago. It’s a 2.0 TDI 190ps Stronic, as I was doing my first long drive yesterday on motorway TPMS warning came on. I was about 80 miles in to the journey. So I went to check the tyre pressure after it was parked for few hours to reinflate. Just wondering what is the right tyre pressure for this car please as I found out dealer filled all tyres to 50psi. Looking at manufacturers instructions it’s 38psi on full load (I could be wrong though) Also it’s bit bizarre that tyre pressure dropped with in a short time or not sure if weather conditions had anything to do with it. It was -2c on motorway when I was driving.

Thanks in advance

I'm sorry this topic hasn't been responded to yet. It's very odd your tyres we're on 50psi!

Here's a link to a thread ibe done for tyre pressures.

Hope it's useful :)
