Electric Seat

Featured Replies

Hi All

New to the forum and new to Audi. I’ve recently bought a basic 2012 A4 estate. I have 2 questions regarding the seats. Sorry if its been asked before. Do the seats from the saloon fit the estate and is it easy to add electric front drivers seat. I’ve seen a set of leather seats for sale but the drivers is electric which mine isnt. Does it require a loom adding? Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the forum Andrew, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :)

The front seats will definitely fit but I'm unsure about the rears to be honest. Hypothetically yes as the base mounting points will be the same. It's the seat back mountings which might be different.

With regard to the wiring the seats would have to come out for you to see whether the wiring is under the plastic cover in the center of the floor. If the wiring isn't there and you wanted them wiring in properly then the wiring would have to be fitted under the carpet. It would be a big job to be honest.

Here is a YouTube video which shows you how to remove the seats and which may have useful info:

Sorry I can't help more.

Cheers

Steve
