central locking/fuel flap/boot not working.

Featured Replies

I accidentally put my cobra jump pack on the wrong way round yesterday as it was dark & I was rushing, the car starts etc & all is good except that the buttons on the centre console for the boot & fuel cap don't work somebody told me to disconnect the negative lead fro 10 minutes will reset this problem. Has anybody else had this problem? Thanks in anticipation

Checked every fuse already in the fuse board at the end of the dash & even the big ones on the top of the battery.

Welcome to the forum Alf, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :)

My advice would be to either get a diagnostic check carried out or contact an auto electrician. But you can disconnect the battery first as this may reset the system.

The key question you have to ask yourself is why is the TT battery gone flat? (,I'm assuming it's used daily).

Cheers

Steve
