Vibrating high level brake light

Featured Replies

Just picked up a brand new A4.

really annoyingly the rear high level brake light vibrates from the subwoofer resonating below.

it seems to be the black plastic cover that’s vibrating, when you hold it it stops.

anyone else had this, and what’s the best way to stop it?

Welcome to the forum James, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂

as your a4 is under warranty my advice would be to take it to Audi to be looked at as it shouldn't be rattling.

cheers

I know, but don’t really wanna mess about at audi for such a trivial thing, thought someone would have a quick diy fix out there?

True, but it sounds to me like it's not attached sufficiently. I would have thought it just screws in place so in order for the bulb to be replaced easily. If not then I wonder if it's clipped in place and maybe a clip is broken, hence the rattle?

Cheers

Steve
