Hi Guys,

After a bit of a browse, the forum looks Good...Well Done to all here!

I have recently purchased a 152 (2015) Audi A6 S-Line Ultra with 47K Miles ( a UK import to ROI) from a local garage.

I am thrilled with the car even though I have been told that I may have paid slightly over the odds for her, but I have noticed a bit of a whinning when in 6th Gear (Manual) at approx. 1600rpm at 60 mph. The Car was supposed to have been fully serviced prior to collection.

Q. Is a slight whinning normal?

Q. Should I take it back to garage and complain?

Q. Should I get a full service and a gearbox service?

TIA Guys

Hi Zain, thank you for your kind words about the forum, we do our best to gave an informative and friendly forum 🙂

whats the mileage of the a6 and how much service history do you have?

it definitely can't hurt you getting the garage to take a look. But it might also be worth you getting an independent garage/Audi specialist/Audi to take a look. And in that case it'll evidence the fault for you to price the fault from the seller.

cheers

Steve
