Just to let people know i purchased a workshop manual on line from ebay for AUDI A6 C5 1997-2005 +WIRING from a uk supplier and 80% was corupt was given a refund no problem  so were to get one from now as i dont seem to be able to get a hard back ( Haynes ) any ideas 

I think Bentleys do a hardback book but I could be mistaken. Your best bet is looking at USA eBay for one but they are hard to come by.

When I tried to get one I had to contact Haynes direct. They didn't make a manual for the c5, apparently there wasn't enough sales to Warrant making one. I hate to think what the level of sales must have been. I also got a manual off eBay.  It's a total nightmare and wasn't worth a penny. I thought it was my devices that were the issue though, but maybe not.

i got a manual on disc from ebay total crap  tempted to go for a Bentleys from the states but at £75 + it could be money well spent or just flushed down tje toilet 

I've heard good things about the Bentleys one, but can't say I've seen it/used it in the flesh.
