Audi A4 AUX plastic surround

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone

I've just bought a second had Audi A4 (2011) which I love so far. Only problem is with the AUX connection in the center arm rest. The plastic surround has broken away so I'm just left with a loose wire with a jack on the end.

Does anyone know what the proper name is for the plastic surround and where i could get a replacemet?

Thanks in advance

Ross

Hello Ross,

If it were mine, I would be wandering into the parts department of my local dealer and enquiring there. Be prepared to be frightened by the price, but you can make polite ‘oh dear’ responses and at least come away with the official part number, and with a bit of nice chat - perhaps the part number. Armed with this, you can then look for a secondhand one if the new price is too frightening.

Kind regards,

Gareth.
