Mark1990
Only after joining up to the site. After picking up a 2013 a6 s line auto. Unfortunately I've noticed an issue with the dome light. When the car is unlocked the light come on front and back as it should. Unfortunately once the ignition is switched on the light seems to loose power. The buttons won't illuminate and none of the lights work. The sun visor lights work fine but not the dome one. Once I open s door the light comes on just fine. Is this a common issue with them or an unusual problem?
Envy
Hi - not sure if this is an issue - do you have the Auto headlights as an option and do you have them in the off position normally?
Mark1990
Hi yeah have auto lights. Usually just have it on auto position. I've tried it in every position but to no avail
Envy
Hmm-- I will have a play on way home later and see what mine do- I only ask about the auto lights as when mine has been in the garage they turn off the auto lights and the next time I get in you get the feeling there is something amiss - normally its the dials in the dark. Envy
So lights come on on unlock and as soon as turn ignition on the lights go off - open the door etc and they come on. Irrespective of the headlight switch position the console buttons are lit and it is only the dials that are dark when the headlight switch is in off.
