fuel pump relay

Featured Replies

Hi, my A3 2.0 tdi 2006 engine BMN, just cut out on me yesterday, RAC came out, it was like fuel starvation, he checked pump in tank there was no power going to pump, he tested pump and said that was ok,. He tried to locate relay for it but could not find relay under dash or in engine compartment and the fuse that he said it should be is a blank in fuse board,he scanned ems only code was crankshaft sensor, but that could be historic, his words. now ESP light has come up on dash, at a loss to...can not find location of relay or fuse trolled internet, look in hand book looked haynes manual.

According to my manual the fuel pump fuse is FC27 in the dashboard. There is no mention of a relay, though logically I would expect there be one.

Do you realise the driver's end of the dash needs to be prised off for access?
