EddyT
Hello i have recently purchased my first ever Audi A4 estate 2006, lovely motor. The boot only opens when you hold down the boot unlock button on the key, you can鈥檛 open the boot manually by pressing the boot聽catch.聽Can anyone tell me please if this is normal for this car or is it faulty? Thanks in advance, Duane.聽
Steve Q
Sounds faulty but I'd suspect a loose wire as you can open it from the key. That would indicate to me that the catch itself is working abd would mean the handle mechanism to be at fault. Cheers Steve

Steve Q
Not too clued up on wiring but think they'll be two wires running from the handle to the catch.聽 You're welcome, hope you get the issue sorted soon 馃槉 Cheers Steve
