No reverse lights on 53 S4

Featured Replies

Noticed today my reverse lights don’t work on my 53 plate S4 estate with auto box.

fuse and lamps are fine, so guessing it’s the switch? Where is it located though!!??

Think you're right with your diagnosis of the problem. The switch is located on the gearbox. Here's a link with a diagram:

Hope it helps

Hi Steve,

cheers for advice. I’ve had a wealth of German cars over the years, but this is my first Audi! Loving my S4. Cheaper fuel at the moment helps!😳

looks like the switch is located on top of auto box. I have yet to get it up on a ramp, but is it fairly accessible??🤔

kind regards

jez
