Locked out of car - keys don’t work

Featured Replies

Hi I have an Audi A4 cabriolet 2008 which has been SORN over lockdown. It’s due an MOT so I went to check all was ok with the battery but the keys don’t work. I have 2 fobs with manual blades but they don’t work either.
I have managed to release the back seat middle section and arranged a pole with a cable tie to the internal driver door handle and pulled it back but still doesn’t release the door.
I have tried to get power to it by attaching a grip from a 12v power source to the starter motor lead area and the side lights and dashboard lights power up but keys still don’t open the door.
I’m at my wits end. PLEASE HELP!
