den9112 Posted December 1, 2020 Share Posted December 1, 2020 I have purchased the above unit for my A3 2011 cab and i have noticed that there is a green handbrake wire for connection. Now i don't want to be ripping up the surround to do this.. As anyone fit this model and knows how to bypass without having to use the amp power out to do it as i want to use that wire for a small 2 channel amp..Any help would be appreciated thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Anavrin Posted April 25, 2021 Share Posted April 25, 2021 I’ve just bought a 2009 A3 8P convertible and I’ll be fitting a Pioneer head unit in it this week. Ive have this head unit in a VW previously and and on the old setup I had the long green parking wire, just connected to the ground wire on the iso plug (black) I’m just waiting for the Audi version of the Connects2 wire harness to turn up.
