Hello, I was mislead when I bought my A4. I wanted sports seats with alcantara like my previous model. I've ended up with standard seats with 'twin leather' . The driver's seat is uncomfortable . I'd like to swap it for a beige alcantara/leather sports seat . Can't find a beige sports alcantara seat on the new car website otherwise could order it from Audi- at considerable cost no doubt. Anybody suggest where I could source a seat in the right colour alcantara/leather combination?

Many thanks for being in touch with the forum.

It sounds as if your search can only be via.  secondhand, and if so, it would be worth registering your ‘want’ with car breaker link sites such as Partsfinder ( there are more). These sites advise breakers of what you are looking for, and the breakers contact you directly if they have what you want. 

This may be pessimistic, but since you require a specific colour from a recent model, then this is likely to restrict your success. 

If this is true, would it be possible to modify the upholstery of your current seat to make it more comfortable? If so, it could be worth looking up a localish classic car trimmer, who might be able to help in that direction.

Thanks Gareth. There is a specialist car trimmer near me- problem is the cost of a re-cover- and the fact I'd be without the car for a while. Maybe I could get a s/h  seat with the wrong colour and get a beige cloth cover. I just wish Audi would sell me the spec. I wanted in the first place. Seems to me they've lost their way recently.
