Audi A5 2009 - Exterior Handle Not Working

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I recently bought an Audi A5 2009. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that the driver’s side exterior handle was not opening. I opened the window and opened the door from the interior handle and then it started working again. It was fine for about a week and then it happened again and was working on and off. Two days ago, it happened again but now I am not able to open the door at all from the exterior handle. 

Does anyone have any idea why this could be happening?

door lock actuator needs replacing, had same problem few months ago.... Easy fix
